‘The Originals’ Season 2 Spoilers: Episode 21 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Fire With Fire’? [VIDEO]

Season 2 of “The Originals” may be winding down, but the drama is only starting to warm up! The synopsis of the forthcoming episode, titled “Fire with Fire,” says fans of the CW series can expect to witness just how heated episode 21 will be next week.

“After discovering that he’s been betrayed by his own siblings, Klaus [Joseph Morgan] will team up with an unlikely ally and will set off on a warpath, hell bent on revenge,” the summary reveals, teasing the seemingly unbreakable bond among Mikaelson clan members had been broken.

“The coffin is empty and he is nowhere to be found,” Rebekah (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) reveals in the promo video for episode 21 after learning her dangerous brother is on the loose.

So, to where has the powerful hybrid run off? We only have one guess: to find Hope.

“He’d kill anyone who’d try to take his daughter,” Rebekah explains to Freya (Riley Voelkel), who responds it’s Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) who has the baby in her custody. (Hayley and Jackson [Nathan Parsons] fled the flooded bayou to escape Dahlia [Claudia Black], the evil witch who wanted to take away Hope.)

But doesn’t Klaus know how risky it is to threaten the Queen of the Wolves? After all, she now has an entire army of snarling beasts to back her up. Well, from the remainder of the trailer, it doesn’t seem as though the cocky vampire/wolf cares he’s outnumbered.

“It will come as no surprise to learn that things will not be ending well for you,” he says to the mother of his child and her pack. A scene then flashes to Klaus standing in the rain among lifeless bodies.

“Amidst the news that Klaus has escaped, Elijah [Daniel Gillies], Rebekah and Freya will move forward with their plan to lure Dahlia to the compound and take her down once and for all,” the synopsis adds. Could this be the episode where Hope’s life is finally saved? Considering the finale is titled “Ashes to Ashes,” it looks like the death toll could keep rising throughout the last two installments of the second season.

The summary concludes Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) will come face-to-face with a new, dangerous threat while Davina (Danielle Campbell) will finally be “presented with an offer that could allow her the chance to bring back Kol (David Sharman).” However, his resurrection “will require her to make a life-altering decision.”
