Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are road favorites against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6 of the 2020 NFL season.

Green Bay is laying 1.5 points in its trip to Raymond James Stadium Sunday afternoon, according to betting odds compiled by OddsShark. The over/under is 54.

The Packers have been the NFC’s best team in the early part of the season. Following a bye in Week 5, Green Bay is one of two undefeated teams in the conferences. The Packers are first with a plus-51 point differential, ahead of the 5-0 Seattle Seahawks, who have played one more game.

It’s been Aaron Rodgers leading the way, playing like the same quarterback who won a pair of MVP awards. Rodgers is second only to Russell Wilson with a 128.4 passer rating and 13 touchdown passes. The veteran ranks in the top-five in yards per play and yards per game. He hasn’t thrown a single interception.

Green Bay is first with 38.0 points per game and 7.1 yards per play.

Even with the addition of Tom Brady, Tampa Bay’s defense has been its strength during a 3-2 start. The Buccaneers’ defense presents the Packers with the toughest challenges they’ve faced this season, by far.

Tampa Bay is second in yards allowed and third in opponents’ yards per play. The Bucs are ninth in points allowed, though they would rank higher if it wasn’t for a pair of Brady pick-sixes.

The Packers have beaten the Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons, all of whom rank 25th or worse in opponents’ yards per play. Green Bay also topped the New Orleans Saints, who are 26th in scoring defense.

The Buccaneers are fourth in the NFL with 17 sacks. The Packers’ four opponents have an average of nine sacks in 2020.

The Bucs let their Week 5 matchup with the Chicago Bears get away, blowing a two-touchdown lead and losing 20-19. Tampa Bay allowed Nick Foles to lead a fourth-quarter comeback. With a banged-up receiving corps and no Leonard Fournette, Brady was mediocre, even seemingly forgetting it was fourth down on the team’s final offensive play.

Tampa Bay’s offense appeared to be rounding into form before being slowed down by Chicago. The Bucs averaged 32.3 points per game from Week 2-4.

Expect a bounce-back performance from Brady against a Packers’ defense that’s 23rd in opponents’ yards per play.

Prediction: Tampa Bay over Green Bay, 31-24
