Panera has launched an online grocery delivery service that will allow customers to buy essential items, such as milk, bread, and fresh produce in addition to their sandwich and soup order.

Panera Grocery can be ordered through the company’s website or app, offering rapid pickup or contactless delivery as well as drive-up and drive-thru ordering. Panera Grocery is also offered through Grubhub.

The company is offering fresh bread, which includes classic white, whole grain, French baguette, and bagels, as well as skim and 2% milk, Greek yogurt, yogurt tubes, plain cream cheese, and fresh produce such as apples, avocados, blueberries, red grades, and vine ripe tomatoes.

The grocery ordering service will be available at Panera cafes nationwide and will accrue rewards for MyPanera members.

“From limited choices on grocery shelves to the growing need to limit the number of trips outside of the home, it is an incredibly stressful time when it comes to putting wholesome food on the table, and we knew Panera could help,” Niren Chaudhary, Panera CEO, said in a statement.

“With this new service we can help deliver good food and fresh ingredients from our pantry to yours, helping provide better access to essential items that are increasingly harder to come by.”
