Patriots Fan Goes Viral For Calm Demeanor In Response To Rowdy Raiders Fan [Watch]

The Las Vegas Raiders played the New England Patriots at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, on Monday where the latter lost by a huge margin. But a fan supporting the losing team won big after he remained calm as a visibly riled-up woman ranted right in his face, intimidating him and calling it "her" stadium, as seen in the video that has gone viral.

Raiders Defensive end Chandler Jones grabbed a backward throw by Patriots' Jakobi Meyers during the final play and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown. The Raiders received a 30-24 victory over the Patriots and thus began the woman's rant against the man seated a few seats below.

The video was shared by Twitter user Babz and had garnered 6.5 million views at the time of this writing. "Someone find me this man. I owe him a beer. Entire game this lady was chirping at him for CHEERING for the Patriots in 'her' stadium. Absolute s--t ending for NE & she's up in his face. He stayed calm after seeing the worst loss ever. I know I wouldn't. He deserves some love," the tweet read.

The man in question commented on the viral video and introduced himself. "I'd like to thank everyone for all the kind words. I'm the Patriots fan in the video, my name is Jerry Edmond and that was my first ever NFL game. I didn't want to ruin my experience by retaliating towards that women [sic] so I kept my cool," Jerry Edmond wrote.

Later, Edmond and Babz spoke on an Instagram live, to discuss what happened at the stadium.

Edmond's cool cat demeanor earned him huge support online with season ticket holders offering him their seats for upcoming matches.
