The fantasy anime "Peach Boy Riverside," based on the manga written by coolkyousinnjya and illustrated by Johann, follows the journey of a princess who dreams of traveling the world.

"Peach Boy Riverside" kickstarts the summer anime season of 2021. It revolves around the life of Saltherine Aldarake, the princess of the Kingdom of Aldarake.

The promo trailer for "Peach Boy Riverside" shows Saltherine bidding goodbye to her father as she embarks on a journey to explore the world. Later, she meets a boy named Mikoto. Saltherine confesses to Mikoto that she wants to go on a journey and see the world outside the kingdom.

Mikoto warns her that his journey is way more dangerous than a normal journey. As they proceed, they make new friends along the way. The trailer introduces other characters namely Frau, Dog and Hawthorn.

The trailer also shows how Mikoto turns into a demon slayer named Momotaro, whose strength is far greater than an army.

Saltherine and her friends begin their adventure as Momotaro vows to rid the world of every last monster.

"Saltherine Aldarake, princess of the Kingdom of Aldarake, dreams of traveling the world — a dangerous dream in a land where monsters roam the countryside as they please, and humans live behind high, strong walls. The cast of the anime includes Haruka Shiraishi as Sally, Nao Touyama as Mikoto, Yurika Kubo as Jucerino, Yuko Suzuhana as Atra, Misato Murai as Todoroki, Toshiki Masuda as Hawthorn, Megumi Toda as Carrot, Mayu Mineda as Millia, Jiro Saito as Inu, M.A.O as Frau, Daisuke Hirakawa as Sumeragi and Haruka Tomatsu as Winny.

Fans can watch "Peach Boy Riverside" Episode 1 online on Crunchyroll this Thursday. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.
