Just hours after giving birth to the second royal baby Saturday morning, Kate Middleton and husband Prince William stepped outside of the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital in London to show their newborn daughter to the public for the first time. Luckily for those who couldn’t make it for the event, the media was there to take plenty of photos.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the hospital around 6:10 p.m. GMT, after announcing to the public the baby's birth at 8:34 a.m. The prince wore a blue sweater, while Middleton was glowing in a yellow and white floral dress. The Duchess of Cambridge held her newborn daughter wrapped in an all-white knit blanket that covered everything but the child's face.

This was the second appearance of Prince William after his wife gave birth. The duke left the Lindo Wing shortly before 4 p.m. to pick up his son, Prince George. He returned shortly thereafter with the 1-year-old, who will turn 2 this July.
