Pippa Middleton’s Wedding Dress Designer Wants To Create Meghan Markle’s Gown

Famed designer Giles Deacon created Pippa Middleton’s gown when she tied the knot with James Matthew in May. Now, Deacon opened up about possibly designing Meghan Markle’s wedding gown, if and when she marries Prince Harry.

While speaking with the Daily Star, he said, “If Meghan Markle was in any way interested, I would be more than delighted. But I’m sure she’s got plenty of people on her list.” Deacon added that he doesn’t normally consider a person’s celebrity status before collaborating with them. Instead, he goes for those that are passionate about having something beautiful created just for them.

Markle and Prince Harry are currently in the center of engagement reports. Multiple sources claimed that the couple is already engaged. An insider close to Markle and Prince Harry told US Weekly that they are just waiting for the right time to announce their engagement.

“I think it’s already happened, but they’re holding the news back until she’s finished on ‘Suits.’ I’ve never seen them happier. It’s amazing,” their friend said. Markle, who plays the role of Rachel Zane in the hit USA Network, is reportedly thinking about her future in the show.

According to the Daily Mail, episodes of “Suits” are being filmed in Canada, which will make it difficult to Markle since Prince Harry is in London. A source said, “Meghan loves playing Rachel and feels she owes so much to ‘Suits.’ But Harry can’t move to Toronto, so she’ll have to move eventually if they want to be together. Her decision to give up the biggest role of her career would mean a lot.”

Markle and Prince Harry started dating last year. While speaking with Vanity Fair, the actress admitted that she and her boyfriend have been together even before it was reported by the media. “We’re two people who are happy and in love. We were very quietly dating for about six months before it became news, and I was working during that whole time, and the only thing that changed was people’s perception,” she said.

The couple made their first public appearance this month at the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded, sick and injured army veterans.
