Prince Charles' goddaughter Princess Maria-Olympia found herself in hot water for sharing an X-rated photo of her giving the finger. The princess of Greece and Denmark shared the photo on Instagram and after facing backlash from her fans she deleted the photo.

The 21-year-old was seen in the photo wearing sunglasses and a leopardskin print dress and flipping her middle finger at the camera. Many of the princess' 150,000 Instagram followers thought the royal should not have shared the photo as it was "inappropriate."

The now-deleted photo was shared by U.K.'s Mirror Online.

This is not the first photo social media users thought was not suitable for a member of the royal family to share.

"You are embarrassing your grandfather in this way. You are a princess and you have to behave like one, either you like it or not. Behave," one user commented in Greek on a picture showing Princess Maria-Olympia lying in bed in a revealing nightdress.

The royal, who is a student at Parsons School of Art and Design in New York, is the goddaughter of Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales. The young model was previously rumored to be dating Prince Harry, who in May got married to American actress Meghan Markle.

Princess Maria-Olympia, who has modeled for Teen Vogue, Tatler, Hello! and W among many others, has often been slammed for not following a royal code as she has often shared photos of her in revealing dresses.

Princess Maria-Olympia is the daughter to Pavlos, Crown Prince of Greece and his wife, Marie-Chantal.
