Prince George and Princess Charlotte are already playing their mom Kate Middleton’s favorite sport.

According to Hello!, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s two older kids are enrolled in tennis lessons at Hurlingham Club. Prince George and Princess Charlotte reportedly have regular lessons at the private members club that is located just 25 minutes away from Kensington Palace.

Middleton is the patron of the Lawn Tennis Association. The royal mother of three has been an avid fan of the sport even before she married Prince William and joined the royal family.

Middleton admitted that before she became a royal, she spent hours lining to get a ticket for Wimbledon because she wanted to be part of the tournament’s “amazing atmosphere” that she considered “special.”

“It inspires young people including myself. Every time Wimbledon is on I am thinking ‘Yes, I could do the same’ and get out the racket. Sadly, not the same results,” Middleton shared.

In 2013, Middleton wanted to watch Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic’s game at the finals, but she was not allowed because she was heavily pregnant with Prince George. Middleton begged her doctor but she was told “definitely not.”

Middleton revealed that she sent the winner a letter. She apologized to Murray for not being there and congratulated him.

Back in October, Middleton joined Prince William and they visited Coach Core at the Basildon Sporting Village in Essex to learn its apprenticeship program. The royal mom of three donned a black turtleneck, pants and heeled boots.

Middleton’s footwear didn’t stop her from enjoying the sport. She picked a racket and joined a group of youngsters for a fun indoor tennis game as shown in the photos shared by E! News.

Aside from playing tennis, Middleton is “very fitness-oriented.” She enjoys a number of activities including running and cycling, which helped her maintain her toned figure after delivering three children. The duchess also reportedly loves to plank.

Middleton is set to join Queen Elizabeth II for a rare engagement on March 19 as the monarch officially opens the Bush House. The event will be the Duchess of Cambridge and Her Majesty’s first royal engagement together after seven years. They had their first joint engagement back in 2012
