Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly taking precautionary measures to ensure that they and their 10-month-old son, Archie are safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.

According to Closer Weekly, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have banned their family and friends from visiting them in Canada for the next month because they are self-isolating in Victoria Island.

Prince Harry and Markle, who sometimes run their errands, are unable to do so amid the outbreak. As such, they are sending their staff to do the grocery shopping for them. The royal couple is also reportedly avoiding restaurants.

“[They are also] taking extra measures by asking the staff to wear gloves and have warned them that if anyone else feels in the slightest bit sick, they must leave immediately,” a source said.

The claims made by the tabloid coincided with the claims made by Us Weekly’s source. The insider said that Prince Harry and Markle are doing their part to flatten the curve by observing the quarantine guidelines put forth by the World Health Organization. They are also staying indoors and socially distancing themselves from other people.

Prior to the outbreak, Markle enjoyed taking walks with Archie through the woods.

“She either pushes him in a stroller through the paved trails through the public woods by their home or straps him on and walks the more rustic routes. The walks usually last around an hour or two, but she takes them daily,” a second source told the publication.

During her walkabouts with Archie, the Duchess of Sussex reportedly bumps into locals and she chats with them. The source said that Prince Harry’s wife is all-around pleasant to strangers. Unfortunately, Markle’s walkabouts with Archie would have to stop because of the virus.

Other members of the royal family have also been on self-quarantine. Queen Elizabeth is staying in Windsor Castle for the time being, while Prince Charles and Camilla are in Clarence House.
