Prince Harry once refused the sympathy vote of the public amid his and his brother’s struggle to become normal.

During a previous interview, the Duke of Sussex said that he and Prince William experienced almost the exact same things especially while they were growing up. Starting off with their mother’s death, Prince Harry said that it is only he and his older brother who could understand it at the level that they do.

Prince Harry and Prince William experience the same hassle over different things and during different occasions simply because they are members of the royal family. And Meghan Markle’s husband admitted that it’s always been hard.

“We’ve got friends of ours and we’ve got the British public saying ‘good on them they’re being normal.’ And then you’ve got the British media saying, ‘oh, but they can’t be normal’ or ‘this isn’t normal, it’s completely outrageous,’ that sort of thing,” he said.

Prince Harry said that he would love to let the comments wash over him, but he doesn’t think that he will ever be able to. However, Archie’s dad also clarified that he didn’t open up about his and his brother’s struggles to earn the public’s sympathy vote.

“I’m going to answer it completely honest and say that William and I try to be normal, it’s very difficult, but we are who we are. I’m coming to the age now where I can make the most of that,” he said.

During the same interview, Prince Harry also said that he and his older brother are very close especially since they lost their mom at such a young age. But as of late, it is unclear if the same thing can be said about the royal siblings’ relationship.

There have been rumors suggesting that Prince William and Prince Harry are not on good terms. There have also been speculations claiming that the brothers are feuding because of their wives.
