Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy is the right girl for him not Meghan Markle.

It has been years since Prince Harry and Davy broke up, but many still believe that Davy is the one that got away for Prince William’s younger brother. The Duke of Sussex and Davy had an on-again, off-again relationship for seven years.

Many thought that they would end up together, but apparently they didn’t. Prince Harry is now married to Markle. However, according to one royal expert, the Zimbabwean beauty is the right woman for the duke.

“Chelsy could have been the right girl for him,” Andrew Morton told New Idea.

“They spent a long time together, but she just couldn’t take the publicity. Now, by contrast, we have someone who is an actress, who was used to treading the red carpet, who [is] in the tradition of a Grace Kelly kind of character. Because after all, royalty is about theatre, and Meghan [knows] all about that.”

Davy was Prince Harry’s first love. According to sources, he was desperate to marry her. However, before he could even propose, she decided to end their romance.

In an interview in 2016 with The Times, Davy shared her thoughts about dating a royal. According to her, it was “crazy and scary and uncomfortable.” She also confessed that she found it “very difficult when it was bad.” She added that she could not cope with it because she was just a normal kid and it was “horrible.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s biographer Chris Hutchins believed that the most suitable person for him is neither Davy nor Markle but his other ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas. According to Hutchins, Bonas’ love for Prince Harry stemmed not from the fact that he is the grandson of the Queen because she herself has a grand ancestry.

Bonas has a royal connection and Prince Harry loved her. He would have married her. Unfortunately, just like Davy, she had no wishes to be a princess and she didn’t like the unwanted attention she received from dating a royal.

When Bonas was still dating Prince Harry, every move she made when she was in public was scrutinized. According to her brother, the model is sweet but not tough.
