Prince William was in attendance at an ex-girlfriend's wedding.

The Prince of Wales looked dapper in his classy black tuxedo when he attended the wedding of his first serious girlfriend, Rose Farquhar, in Gloucestershire Saturday. Prince William appeared solo at the event as his wife, Kate Middleton, was noticeably missing during the sighting, Page Six reported.

The heir to the throne watched Farquhar, 39, exchange "I dos" with George Gemmell at St. Mary the Virgin church. He and Farquhar dated in the early 2000 years before he met Middleton.

William and Farquhar met at the Beaufort Polo Club after he completed his A-levels at Eton College. The exes were once rumored to have been caught by a farmer canoodling in a field, according to Daily Mail.

Despite their split, Prince William and Farquhar remained good friends. She headed to New York, where she studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute.

Farquhar is a singer-songwriter who appeared on "The Voice" in the United Kingdom in 2016. She currently works for the Duchess of Rutland's Belvoir Castle in a business development role.

On her big day, the bride looked stunning in her white and fur shoulder cape. Her wedding reportedly broke down en route, but she and her father Captain Ian Farquhar managed to arrive on time in an Audi instead.

Prince William's attendance at his ex-girlfriend's wedding was not a big deal since he also invited some of his exes when he wed Middleton in 2011. Even the Princess of Wales invited an ex to the royal wedding.

Prince William reportedly invited Arabella Musgrave, Jecca Craig, Olivia Hunt and Carly Massy-Birch, who all won his heart at one point. Middleton invited Rupert Finch, whom she dated at St. Andrews, and William Marks, People reported.

The Prince and Princess of Wales dated for nearly a decade before they tied the knot at Westminster Abbey in London on April 29, 2011. The royal couple has three children, Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4. However, they might welcome another one in the coming years as Middleton is reportedly keen on expanding their brood.

"Kate has been talking about wanting another baby for a while now," an insider told Us Weekly. "She has always wanted four children, and while William was originally happy with three, she has managed to twist his arm."

The source added, "[Their pals] wouldn't be surprised if we'll be hearing an announcement early next year."
