Prince William and Prince Harry’s split is not only inevitable, but it may also happen very soon, according to one royal expert.

Royal expert Phil Dampier recently spoke with Express and said that the royal siblings are now slowly going their separate ways because of their age, interests and roles. Prince William is slowly starting to prepare for the day when he will take over the throne and eventually become king. Prince Harry, on the other hand, is carving out a separate path with his wife, Meghan Markle, for the causes that they are interested in.

“I think it was inevitable that there was going to be a bit of a split. Whether they’ve got a massive personal rift or not, I suspect there have been a few ups and downs but I think they will patch it up,” he said.

Dampier is not the only expert who thinks that Prince William and Prince Harry will soon go their separate ways with regards to their royal roles and jobs. Last month, royal biographer Robert Jobson said on ITV’s “Meghan – The Story So Far” that there is an obvious need for the brothers’ households to separate.

“Ultimately, I think it’s inevitable that both the households of William and the households of Harry do separate and become their own individual households. Because in time, the Prince of Wales will be Prince William,” he said.

And when Prince William becomes the Prince of Wales, it is highly unlikely for him to move out of Kensington Palace. This means that Prince Harry and Markle moving out of the palace is more possible.

Last week, it was reported that Prince Harry and Markle are renovating their Frogmore Cottage. According to US Weekly, the royal couple is spending approximately $3.8 million for it. Frogmore Cottage in Windsor is located within the private Home Park, and it faces the grounds of Frogmore House. The place is also where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s engagement photos were shot.

According to royal reporter Emily Andrews, there are five separate apartments in Frogmore Cottage, and the couple wants to merge those into a single luxury home.
