Prince William and Kate Middleton bond like most couples do, according to a report.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are hands-on when it comes to their three children — Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 6, and Prince Louis. They also make sure that they still have time for each other at the end of the day.

"William will bring Kate a gin-and-tonic," a family friend told People about what the couple does after putting their children to bed. "They look after each other, but in different ways."

Both are supportive of each other's public work. Most of the time they attend royal engagements together, but they also attend certain events separately.

According to royal photographer Chris Jackson, Middleton was "clearly really proud" of her husband. He noticed it when the duchess joined Prince William at the inaugural Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in October.

The future king returned the favor to his wife by joining her when she hosted a Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey last week.

Despite their royal duties, Prince William and Middleton make time for their children. They pick up their kids from school. Prince William recently shared how Prince George and Princess Charlotte would argue over what song to play in the morning.

The couple also takes their kids outdoors, rain or shine, for bike rides or to play at the sand dunes of Norfolk's beaches near Anmer Hall, when they are in the country home.

"Kate likes to keep an ordinary life," a source said.

The Cambridges have the help of Maria Turrion Borrallo when it comes to their children. Borrallo joined the family after they welcomed Prince George in 2013 and has been the nanny of their three children. Despite Borrallo's presence, Middleton "runs things at home with the kids and the schedules."

"She is hugely involved in every single part of their day," the tipster added.

The insider also praised the duchess because Middleton has become "more and more impressive as time goes on."

"She is a focused and professional woman," the insider said.

Prince William and Middleton will be spending the holidays with the Queen in Sandringham. It will be their first Christmas without Prince Philip. The Duke of Edinburgh passed away in April.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly unlikely to fly to the U.K. for the holidays. An anonymous tipster told Page Six that they would have already informed the royal family if they had plans to be there.

"There’s a lot that goes into the logistics and the planning of the family Christmas, so of course, staff knows that Harry and Meghan are not coming," the source told the outlet. "If they were, they would have communicated it to their family by now."
