Princess Diana and Prince Charles only saw each other 17 times before they tied the knot. This means that their relationship was relatively short before Prince Charles decided to ask for Princess Diana’s hand in marriage.

Multiple reports claimed that one of the reasons why the Princess of Wales was regarded as a suitable bride for the heir to the throne was because she was a virgin. Prince Charles, true love Camilla, on the other hand, was already dating Andrew Parker Bowles.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans are wondering if it’s true that Princess Diana didn’t really have any sexual experience before they tied the knot. They are also wondering if the Prince and Princess of Wales ever engaged in a sexual deed before their wedding.

The majority of the royal fans who responded to the question said that it’s rude to meddle with the royals’ sex life. Others said that it might be better to ask about Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s sex lives after they have died.

Natasja Rose, a disability support worker, said that considering how short the royal couple’s courtship was, it is unlikely that they were able to have sex when they were together.

“Given how briefly they courted, and that they only met about 17 times, and that the whole point of Diana was to pick a proper, virginal bride, it’s unlikely that they were intimate before marriage,” she said.

Sue McCune Martin, an observer of the British royal family, said a similar thing. She said that it is unlikely that the royal couple had sex before tying the knot.

“Everything I’ve read about Diana and Charles indicates they were not intimate before their wedding. Diana had no sexual experience when she met Charles, and that is one thing that made her such a good prospect for the position of the future King’s wife. Diana knew this, and was canny enough to know its value to the Royal Family and to the Palace courtiers,” she said.
