Prince Charles and Princess Diana once made the entire world believe that they were in love.

During one of their royal tours, the couple appeared as though they were having the best time of their life. But it was later on revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales weren’t really happy in their marriage.

In one of their throwback snaps, Prince Charles and Princess Diana are looking into each other eyes lovingly. Prince Charles is also holding Princess Diana’s wrist, and they look very happy.

But other than their affectionate touch and gaze, it couldn’t also be denied that Prince Charles saw Princess Diana as his subordinate. The mom of two is sitting beside the future King with her back slouched while Prince Charles is seated straight.

In another photo, Princess Diana appears to be giggling after Prince Charles told her something. The dad of two leans in towards his then-wife, but it is hard to predict what he told the late royal. Prince Charles has a serious look on his face, while Princess Diana appears to be flirting with her then-husband.

Another picture shows Prince Charles and Princess Diana giving a united front to the public during their tour. They are standing close to each other while waving to the massive crowd. However, Prince Charles and Princess Diana aren’t looking in the same direction.

In the throwback photos, Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom looks stunning in her pink long-sleeved dress with matching pink fascinator. She is also holding a bouquet of flowers that were given to her during the tour.

Prince Charles, on the other hand, is clad in his signature coat and tie. His dark curly hair is combed neatly.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were married for a total of 15 years. They tied the knot in 1981, but they announced their separation in 1992. The former couple’s marriage ended up in a divorce in 1996.
