Princess Diana’s two older sisters were recently accused of looking unhappy in the official christening photo of Archie.

Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale attended Archie’s baptism at Queen Elizabeth’s private chapel in Windsor on July 6. In the photo, they stood behind Prince Harry, Markle, and Archie.

On the online forum site Quora, royal fans are analyzing how Princess Diana’s sisters looked in the snap. They said that both of them didn’t smile in the picture and this may because they were standing close to Prince Charles.

Prince Charles was previously married to Princess Diana, but they divorced after he cheated on with Camilla Parker Bowles. The latter is also in the photo.

Michelle Blair, who has watched several documentaries about Princess Diana, said that Lady Sarah and Lady Jane may have looked unhappy in the photo because their relationship with Prince Charles is strained.

“Charles dated Lady Sarah before choosing to marry Diana. Their relationship could be strained due to this… If the two sisters started having animosity towards Charles after their sister’s death that could also be a factor in any strained relationship between them,” she said.

However, Eileen Wood, a Republican, said that she didn’t think Princess Diana or the royals looked unhappy in the photo.

“They look like a bunch of people stuck in their Sunday best, waiting while a photographer fusses endlessly to get everyone into exactly the right spot. This was not the only photo taken that day – that’s a guarantee… One doesn’t hire a professional photographer for a single snap,” she said.

Sharon Ann Cummins-Royes also said that Princess Diana’s sisters don’t have any issue with Prince Charles. In fact, after the Princess of Wales died, the three of them traveled to Paris to retrieve her body.

Lady Sarah and Lady Jane have also been a part of Prince William and Prince Harry’s lives. They were also included in Archie’s birth announcement on May 6.
