Princess Eugenie broke a number of royal protocol before her wedding day just like Meghan Markle.

Last year Princess Eugenie and Markle walked down the aisle. The Duchess of Sussex tied the knot with Prince Harry in May. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie married her long-time then-boyfriend James Brooksbank in October.

Prior to their big day, both have been reported to be breaking the royal protocol. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter was spotted using a crossbody bag. Royals are advised to use clutch bags to avoid unnecessary handshakes.

Markle broke the same protocol when she used Strathberry’s East/West mini bag when she and Prince Harry visited Scotland. The Duchess of Sussex used another crossbody bag designed by Oroton when she attended the Commonwealth Youth Forum in London in April 2018.

In addition, Princess Beatrice’s sister has been seen carrying her coats in public. The members of the royal family are reportedly forbidden from taking off their coats because it is deemed “unladylike to undress in public.” On the other hand, Markle was criticized for not wearing stockings during their engagement photocall.

Princess Eugenie also shook the royal beauty protocol with her extreme nail art. In 2015, she caused a stir when she joined the royal family’s Christmas luncheon at the Buckingham Palace with a deep red manicure with different festive designs.

It wasn’t the first time she had a daring manicure. In 2012, she showed her patriotic side when she opted to design her nails with a Union Jack manicure when she watched the Epsom Derby. The event was part of the festivities for Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th birthday. So, Princess Eugenie’s choice was perfect for the occasion.

Just recently, Princess Eugenie is becoming a new favorite on Instagram. Many netizens love the royal’s down to earth attitude. They also admired her for showing family love and not being snobby and disconnected.

Princess Eugenie is fond of sharing intimate photos of her relatives. For instance, after skipping Lady Gabriella’s wedding celebration, she posted a photo of the bride and groom and praised the former for looking “absolutely stunning.”

In another post, she shared a sweet photo of Prince Harry and Markle after their photocall to introduce baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world.
