Princess Eugenie paid a sweet tribute to her older sister and maid of honor Princess Beatrice.

On her Instagram account, Jack Brooksbank’s fiancée uploaded a photo of Princess Beatrice with a young girl during her visit to The Drive. In her caption, Princess Eugenie simply quoted what Princess Beatrice had to say about her experience during the engagement.

Princess Eugenie revealed that her older sister and Princess Beatrice’s friend, Holly Branson, set up the Big Change Charity to help future generations thrive in their chosen fields of expertise.

Last month, it was reported that Princess Eugenie has chosen Princess Beatrice to be her maid of honor. The decision didn’t come as a surprise to royal fans because they are the only daughters of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

During the siblings’ joint interview with British Vogue, Princess Beatrice gushed over her sister and called her her rock.

“Euge is amazing. She’s a very modern bride,” she said.

In related news, Princess Eugenie will tie the knot with Brooksbank on Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. A carriage procession will take place following their wedding ceremony.

Queen Elizabeth II will also be hosting a lunch reception at St. George’s Hall after Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank exchange their vows. On the night of their wedding, Prince Andrew will host a more intimate evening reception at the Royal Lodge.

The cost of the wedding receptions will be shouldered by the royal family. However, the salary of the security teams that will be employed before and on the day of the nuptials will be shouldered by the British taxpayers.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the huge royal event will cost $2.5 million for taxpayers. Member of Parliament Chris Williamson called this an outrage. Labor MP Emma Dent Coad added, “In these times of heightened security risks, it is irresponsible for a minor member of the royal family to have a high-profile, very public wedding. This may be the time to review the role of and cost of minor royals.”

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding is also expected to be much bigger than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, at least in terms of the number of invited guests.
