Princess Eugenie just gave out handwritten thank you cards to those who attended her royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12.

Royal fan @LoopyCrown3 shared photos of the royal’s handwritten note on Instagram. Princess Eugenie’s thank you card features her and Brooksbank’s joint monogram on top of an off-white paper.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding so special and for thinking of us as we start our married life. We are completely overwhelmed with happiness,” Princess Eugenie wrote.

The thank you card was also signed by Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank.

According to People, it has always been a common practice for members of the royal family to send out thank you cards after important occasions. For instance, Meghan Markle gave out beautiful notes to royal fans that sent her gifts and letters on her 37th birthday on Aug. 4.

The Duchess of Sussex’s card featured a candid photo of herself, which was taken by Gerry Mooney. The snap was captured while Markle was in Ireland in July.

“The Duchess of Sussex is so touched you took the time to write as you did on the occasion of her 37th birthday. It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her heartfelt thanks and best wishes,” the card read.

Prince Harry also released his thank you cards to commemorate his 34th birthday in September. His note featured a throwback photo of the Duke of Sussex.

“The Duke of Sussex is most grateful to you for writing as you did on the occasion of his 34th birthday. It really was so thoughtful of you and His Royal Highness sends his warmest thanks and best wishes,” the card read.

A few months ago, Kate Middleton also sent out thank you cards to royal fans that congratulated Prince Louis on his baptism and greeted Prince George on his birthday. Prince Louis’ thank you cards featured a candid photo of the seven-month-old baby giggling while being carried by the Duchess of Cambridge.

Prince George’s thank you card, on the other hand, featured a snap of the five-year-old royal that was taken during Prince Louis’ baptism.
