Though Madonna is still the original Queen of Pop, her newest single, “Bitch I’m Madonna,” which premiered yesterday on subscription music service Tidal, takes a page out of Taylor Swift’s star-studded “Bad Blood” music video, featuring cameos from a dozen famous friends and a few family members.

The music video, directed by Jonas Åkerlund, who has made several of Madonna’s videos in the past, is set at a wild party at New York City’s Standard Hotel featuring dancers, models, celebrities and even a gaggle of sock puppets. While Madonna, in a bright pink studded leather jacket and matching highlights, is undoubtedly the star of the video, who wins the title of the video’s top sidekick?

Here’s a countdown of all the contenders:

Kanye West

If you blink you just might miss Kanye West’s quick cameos. Not much to say here. Kanye adds a couple “uhs” to the track and he’s out.

Beyoncé & Katy Perry

Despite being huge stars, both Beyoncé and Katy Perry only get a second of screen time. Still, they use their moment to show off some dance moves and some subtle voguing.

Rita Ora

Sporting platinum blond braids and electric blue eyeliner, Rita Ora is the first of several pop powerhouses seen in the video. Ora has said she's a fan of the music icon in several posts on social media. Following a controversial performance by Madonna at the Coachella music festival where the 56-year-old made out with 28-year-old rapper and singer Drake, Ora came to the defense of the '80s icon.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus looks ready to party in her cameo. She wears heavy glitter makeup, flips the camera the bird and flashes her signature move -- sticking her tongue out. She’s just being Miley! This music video is the most recent collaboration between the two pop artists. Last year Miley and Madonna teamed up for Cyrus’ episode of "MTV Unplugged," where the two performed each other's songs. Later in the year Miley praised Madonna’s then upcoming album “Rebel Heart,” posting several Photoshopped images on Instagram.

Nicki Minaj

Though Nicki Minaj has her own rap verse on the track, she doesn’t appear to actually be on set. Still, Minaj brings the heat with her killer rap flow, signature pink hair and a lot of sass.

Chris Rock

Comedian Chris Rock is no stranger to the screen, but his cameo in the music video is still surprising. However, casting him may have been a case of making up for a missed opportunity over a decade ago. Director Åkerlund also made the video for Madonna's 2000 single “Music,” which featured actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, now known for his outrageous characters like Borat and Ali G. In an interview with GQ magazine, Åkerlund revealed that Chris Rock was initially meant to play the part. Fifteen years later, Rock is finally getting his cameo.

Alexander Wang

Dressed in his signature simple all-black look, the designer hams it up as partiers in outrageous outfits surround him. He takes the honors for most surprising cameo. Though it may seem random to feature a fashion designer in the video, Madonna is a longtime fan of Wang, constantly sporting his designs at red carpet events and in her downtime. One of her costumes on her "MDNA" tour in 2012 was a Wang design.

Diplo

The DJ is the most heavily featured celebrity in the music video -- popping in and out of party scenes -- and that’s because he also served as music producer for the track. “Bitch I’m Madonna” is one of three Madonna songs Diplo has produced and will likely not be their last collaboration.

Rocco Ritchie & David Banda Ritchie

Rocco is Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie’s 14-year-old son. Though Rocco’s cameo is short, having fun and showing your mom your support by partying in a hotel next to an award-winning DJ/music producer is the kind of mother-son bonding that only Madonna can pull off.

When it comes dance moves, Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s other son, David Banda, steals the show. At just 9, David showcases his moves in front of a circle of professional dancers and partiers.

A lot of comparisons have been made between Swift's cameo-filled "Bad Blood" and “Bitch I’m Madonna.” While Madonna’s video features some of the biggest names in music and fashion, Swift’s video features many figures from her real-life everyday girl squad.

Though Swift’s video falls short of Madonna's in megawatt star power -- but not by much! -- she makes up for it in her creative concept and execution. The music video's party scene is definitely overplayed, but a dystopian face-off featuring bazookas? Sounds like a clear winner to us. Now we’re just waiting for the mashup video of the two songs to give us the real mega-cameo video that we all want.

Do you think Madonna’s music video mega-stars top Taylor Swift’s brood from “Bad Blood”?
