Super Bowl Animal Predictions
NFL experts are not the only ones choosing a Super Bowl winner. Animal predictions have become a popular part of the big game. Reuters

If you're looking for a Super Bowl 2015 prediction, you may do better to check with the animal kingdom instead of the so-called experts. Paul the Octopus delivered perfect predictions during the 2010 World Cup and even selected Spain to defeat the Netherlands in the finals. Looking ahead to the game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, here's a roundup of Super Bowl animal predictions.

Winston The Psychic Dog

International Business Times' resident animal expert, Winston successfully picked the winner of the 2014 season of "The Bachelorette." This is the first time the distant cousin of Oprah Winfrey's golden retrievers will use his talent for a sporting event, but we are confident in his ability to select a winner. Winston picked the Seahawks to win Super Bowl XLIX and he's not the only animal to choose the defending champions.

The Phoenix Zoo

ESPN's Michael Smith and Jemele Hill went to the Phoenix Zoo to get a consensus from the animal kingdom. Not surprisingly, a hawk chose the Seahawks. A group of stingrays also chose the Seahawks while a Komodo dragon and a giraffe picked the Patriots. To break the deadlock, Smith and Hill asked an orangutan, and the primate chose the Patriots.

'Teddy Bear' The Porcupine

If we were putting money on any animal prediction, it might be Texas' "Teddy Bear." The porcupine has picked the last three Super Bowl winners and he hopes to keep his streak alive in 2015. Teddy wasted no time and selected the Seahawks to repeat.

Animal Planet's Puppies

Animal Planet recruited its participants of the Puppy Bowl to select a winner for the Super Bowl. The puppies began to sniff the Patriots cake, but quickly turned their attention to the Seahawks cake, declaring Seattle the winner.

Fred The Psychic Bunny

Fred doesn't seem too interested in picking a Super Bowl winner, but the bunny selected the Seahawks and hopped away.

Myrtle Beach Safari

The Institute of Greatly Endangered and Rare Species recruited two of its most famous members to predict the winner of the Super Bowl. Bubbles the elephant picked the Patriots to beat the Seahawks. The resident tiger was in agreement with Bubbles and chose New England to dethrone Seattle.

Gabby The Sea Turtle

Gabby from Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach offered her own prediction. The sea turtle predicted the Patriots to be crowned Super Bowl champions.
