The Punisher
Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) will see a “Daredevil” character in “Marvel’s The Punisher” Season 1. Netflix

“Marvel’s The Punisher” already has its first crossover scheduled! Karen Page will guest star on the series. Set photos reveal that the “Daredevil” character, played by Deborah Ann Woll, will appear in at least one episode of the Marvel/Netflix show.

Karen and Frank (Jon Bernthal) appeared together in “Daredevil” Season 2, where they grew pretty close. Karen spent the most time with him while Matt (Charlie Cox) and Foggy (Elden Henson) worked on his case. She was pretty much the closest thing he had to a friend.

Viewers grew pretty fond of seeing them together. A few of their fans were quite excited, to say the least, when they saw the new “Punisher” set photos.

The secretary might not be Frank’s only friend on the Netflix drama. Ben Barnes will play Billy Russo, Marvel reports. Billy is Frank’s best friend from the Special Forces. Like Frank, he is also finished serving his country, but Billy hasn’t exactly cut all ties with the armed forces. He now he runs Anvil, a private military corporation.

In addition, the casting of Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Amber Rose Revah was also announced. Moss-Bachrach will play Micro, a former NSA analyst who might be able to help Frank. Revah will portray Dinah Madani, a Homeland Security agent who wants to put the Punisher behind bars.

“The Punisher” is one of several series Marvel and Netflix have created together. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but it seems likely that it’ll be out in 2018. Netflix’s Marvel schedule is pretty packed. “Iron Fist” is set to debut March 17, 2017 and “The Defenders” is expected later in 2017. “Jessica Jones” Season 2 and “Daredevil” Season 3 have also been ordered, but it’s not clear when they’ll hit the streaming platform.
