“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey was thrilled when Mike Hill surprised her with a stunning engagement. Now that the couple is looking toward the future and their marriage together, it appears Cynthia has some doubts about whether their relationship will last.

Although they have both been married before, Cynthia is concerned that Mike’s extramarital affairs from his past may become an issue once they are married.

In a clip from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, episode 13, Cynthia admits she is worried Mike will ruin their marriage. “I think I’m getting Mike at the best time in his life, right now. But he has cheated on his wives before me. What makes me different?” she confesses.

Although Cynthia’s concerns are justified, Mike is hoping that this marriage will stand the test of time. “We caught each other at the right time. Because if [Bailey] would’ve met me three years ago, it was a different Mike. Two years ago, [he] was finding himself. In the process,” he explained.

When the sports broadcaster began penning his memoir, “Open Mike,” he reflected on how his behavior in the past has affected others. “It’s important to me because I do have daughters, to reveal some of these things,” he said.

“Their moms, I’ve apologized to them for the things and transgressions I’ve made in the past and now, I’m just trying to do it the right way this time,” Mike added.

Despite her reservations, Cynthia plans to go through with her wedding and wants to make sure viewers can watch her walk down the aisle. “My fans have been on my journey for 10 years. They’ve seen me get married on the show,” Cynthia told Us Weekly in November 2019.

“They’ve seen all my ups and downs in my last marriage [to Peter Thomas], and they have seen me get divorced on the show. They’ve seen me date on the show.”

Cynthia revealed her fans deserved to see her start a new chapter in her life. “It would be totally unfair for them not to see my happily ever after. I want to share it with them because I’m in a great place and I’m happy, and they’ve seen me not always so happy,” she explained.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
