Things got real in Tuesday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” as the ladies sat down for dinner in Amsterdam. Tensions between Lisa Rinna and Kim Richards reached a boiling point after Lisa shared with the ladies the dark reason she’s so invested in Kim’s sobriety.

Unfortunately, Kim was not ready to accept Lisa’s apology and threatened to reveal dark secrets about her home life, as well as her marriage to actor Harry Hamlin. Although Lisa has played it cool with Kim throughout this lengthy feud, the empty threats sent her into a rage, as she threw drinks and broke glasses in episode 16 of the Bravo reality-television series.

While the rest of the cast attempted to get between the two “Housewives,” Kyle Richards fled the scene. After the episode aired, the 46-year-old called in to “Watch What Happens Live” to explain why she ran rather than come to her sister’s defense.

“You know, I’ve been asked that all night on Twitter. It was just my instinct. My instinct was just to run and get out of there. I got scared -- you know, there was glass flying, so I freaked out,” she told host Andy Cohen.

Kyle also said that, while she doesn’t condone Lisa’s glass-throwing, she simply couldn’t support her sister’s behavior. “The whole thing was such a nightmare,” she said.

Kim wasn’t the only one with something to say about last night’s knock-down, drag-out fight. A number of those on the scene took to Twitter to ensure their fans knew exactly what they were thinking the moment shards of glass started flying.

Eileen Davidson, who also has been at odds with Kim in recent episodes, was beside herself as she watched the fight play out on camera. She, too, felt that Lisa’s reaction to Kim’s threats was inappropriate, but justifiable. Davidson tweeted:

Others -- meaning Lisa -- decided to make light of the situation, repeatedly using the hashtag #WhatDidHarryDo and joking about what Kim’s alleged secrets may be.

At one point, however, Lisa did take a moment to address the situation seriously. She shared with her followers in an obscenity-laced tweet that, while her heart may have been in the right place, “you can’t talk to kookoo bird crazy.” She later asked fans to disregard anything that doesn’t come directly from her.

Kim has yet to comment on the dramatic episode.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” is shown on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EDT.
