“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof spoke up about Kim Richards’ arrest after security at a hotel alleged she was causing a scene, E! News reported Thursday. The 50-year-old star was charged with trespassing, resisting arrest, battery of a police officer and public intoxication.

"I think this is a cry for help. Right now Kim needs help," Maloof told E! News, adding: "She and [sisters] Kyle Richards and Kathy [Hilton] are in my prayers and have my full support."

The Beverly Hills police were called after a reported fight in the Beverly Hills Hotel following which Richards was taken into custody and was reportedly released after nearly 9 hours. She is slated to appear before a judge on May 10.

New "RHOBH" member Eileen Davidson took to Twitter to express her concern for the reality star, while co-star Lisa Rinna also took to the social networking site to speak about Richards' arrest.

Lisa Vanderpump tweeted: "U can't help somebody til they want to help themselves,I know for sure that the sisters will always support each other when the time comes."

Richards' sobriety was questioned during Season 5 of “RHOBH,” when she was accused of being "under the influence of something."

According to E! News, Richards, who maintained that she is sober, sought treatment in 2011. In January 2012, sister Kyle Richards told Ryan Seacrest that Richards had checked out of rehab, assuring him that her sister was “not drinking or partying at all, and is on the road to recovery.”
