KEY POINTS

  • Real Madrid is on top of the La Liga standings but is seeking to further improve their roster
  • One possible talent they may benefit from is Schalke Rising Star Suat Serdar
  • Serdar has remained as one of the more consistent midfielders of Bundesliga

The past few games for Real Madrid has been a dominant stretch, as they remain to be in top form. The club has been performing well and is suited for a stronger position in the succeeding seasons as they reportedly may benefit from signing Schalk 04 rising star Suat Serdar.

For Zinedine Zidane’s club, several key players have donned the role to act as the supporting cast for the main stars on the pitch. Athletes such as Ferland Mendy, Vinicius Junior and Marco Asensio have played big in the past few games that complement the team’s main stars. With the team stacked with talent, it will be pivotal for Real Madrid to maintain this depth in seasons to come.

Per The Real Champs, if Real Madrid were to make an underrated key signing, Serdar would be one of them. Ensuring someone like Serdar’s caliber makes sense for Real Madrid as the all-around player offers a lot on the field. Throughout his stint with Schalk, he has made an impact on the club as one of the more reliable players in Bundesliga.

The German may not be the most dominant star but has been trustworthy of several starts already in the stage of his career. Having Serdar on the team may add as a stronger presence for Zidane on the midfield. In his entire Bundesliga stint, he’s suited up for 91 appearances and has tallied 11 goals and an assist. The 23-year-old is also putting up averages of 2.7 tackles a night to go along with 1.1 interceptions and 1.9 clearances per match.

Throughout Serdar's professional journey, he has already made big strides in his growth but he has a lot to learn. If he ends up with Los Blancos then the presence of Karim Benzema, Sergio Ramos and many more big names may benefit his development. The experience Serdar will get may be what it takes to elevate his game to the next level.

It will be interesting to see how Real Madrid moves forward in the remaining games of the season and what they do for the succeeding years. With players such as Serdar available, the club is looking to improve their team even further.
