‘Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World’ Season 2, Episode 4 Live Stream Details: Subaru’s Past

A voice tells Subaru to face his past before he can save Emilia from the trial. "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Season 2, Episode 4 will showcase Subaru’s past before he landed in the fantasy world.

The official preview trailer for "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Season 2, Episode 4 shows Subaru spending time with his family. Toward the end of the last episode, Subaru passes out and a voice tells him to confront his past. Later, he wakes up, in what appears to be his bedroom, to find his father. The scenes are hazy when Subaru is with his parents indicating he is in a dream-like phase. Meanwhile, the trailer also shows Emilia.

This is the first time "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" anime will explore Subaru’s origin.

Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Subaru and Emilia are on their way to the Sanctuary. However, they bump into Garfiel, who knows about the Sanctuary. He reveals Sanctuary is the same place where Echidna was buried.

When they reach the Sanctuary, Emilia and Subaru reunite with Ram. She tells them how they cannot leave the place without a trial.

However, only a creature with mixed blood is eligible to face the trial. Emilia steps up to be a part of the trial and save the villagers stuck with Ram and others in the Sanctuary.

"Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Season 2, Episode 4 is scheduled to broadcast Wednesday, July 29. The episode will be available for live streaming on Crunchyroll. Currently, the episodes are available in Japanese with English subtitles.
