From reality TV to Broadway -- Erika Girardi is taking a break from "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" to take on a role in the revival of "Chicago: The Musical."

"I’m beyond excited to join the cast of the legendary musical Chicago," she told People in a statement.

The 48-year-old didn't just land any role though. She is taking on the lead in the Tony award-winning play as Roxie Hart, a murderous and aspiring night club singer.

"Having been a fan of Bob Fosse and Gwen Verdon’s work it is an honor and a dream to play Roxie Hart," Erika said.

The "RHOBH" star, who is no stranger to the stage, will begin a 12-week run of the Broadway production starting on Jan. 6, 2020, before wrapping up on March 29.

Erika isn't the first "Housewife" to grace the Broadway stage. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" stars NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss have also portrayed characters on the Broadway stage, as did her "RHOBH" co-star Lisa Rinna.

"Chicago" currently holds some impressive records, including the longest-running musical revival and the longest-running American musical in Broadway history. And it is the second longest-running show to ever run on Broadway.

So how do you catch the Bravo-celeb in her new role? Tickets are on sale now -- just make sure to get a seat for a time during her limited engagement.
