'RHONJ' Update: Teresa And Joe Giudice Status Following Emotional Interview

It's been a rough few years for Teresa and Joe Giudice. After serving their separate prison sentences they can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. There are just a few things that they need to sort out first--including their marriage.

The couple joined Andy Cohen on Oct. 27 in what turned out to be an emotional sit down to discuss all that's been going on with their family in "The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked." A lot of revelations were made, but ultimately the future of their relationship comes down to two things: Teresa and Joe reuniting face-to-face for the first time since he's been free and the eventual verdict on Joe's deportation case.

Despite everything that the Giudice family still has to face, when Extra caught up with Melissa Gorga, Teresa's sister-in-law and "RHONJ" castmate, she revealed that they are in great spirits.

When asked how the mother of four was holding up, Melissa replied, "Good, good. I know that interview was a crazy one. She’s doing good… everyone’s good."

It was the same for Joe, although, she noted that it's "bittersweet" for him as he remains separated from his family.

"He’s good, " Melissa shared, "He’s so happy he is out... He is free from that horrible place… ICE was rough.”

She added that her nieces (Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14 and Audriana, 10) are also feeling joyful.

"They are so happy 'cause they are FaceTiming him every second," she added.

Neither Joe nor Teresa have yet to make a decision on the future of their marriage. However, they did agree on one thing -- Teresa needs to be with someone wealthy.

In early October sources spilled that the reality star needs a man that can maintain her lifestyle.

"Teresa has said that she wants to date a rich man now. She wants someone to take care of her," the insider revealed. "She doesn’t really want to work as hard as she is working, she wants to enjoy life with a man who can afford to do nice things with her."
