Rihanna's new album "Anti" has been one of the most buzzed about albums over the past several months. The 27-year-old singer confirmed last year she was working on a new album but details about it have been scarce.

Rihanna and her team unveiled the official album cover art, announced an Anti World Tour, dropped two singles -- "FourFiveSeconds" and "B---- Better Have My Money" -- but has not announced a release date.

It was previously rumored that "Anti" would drop in November on Black Friday, but that day came and went without any signs of her LP. Now a new rumor suggests fans can expect the singer to release her eighth studio album Friday, Dec. 4.

The latest release date gossip comes from Page Six, which reports that Rihanna may "surprise fans and release it Friday." The outlet claims it received the scoop from an industry insider. Page Six also claims Kanye West and her rumored boyfriend Travis Scott will make an appearance on "Anti."

Over the weekend, rumors surfaced that Rihanna may be collaborating with a bunch of A-list stars for her album. The speculation started after she unlocked The Studio, a short teaser video on her Samsung mobile website ANTIdiaRy.com.

Fans who have access to her mobile site said in the video they could hear voices belonging to artists such as Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Big Sean, Missy Elliott, Lady Gaga, Azealia Banks and Madonna.

While it's not clear when Rihanna will release the album, it's expected that she'll drop “Anti” before her world tour kicks off in February. As previously reported, Scott has been tapped to be the opening act for the North American leg of the tour, while Big Sean and The Weeknd will take over for the European leg.
