Rihanna has launched a new beauty and styling agency called Fr8me, which will rep stylists, make-up artists and hairdressers. The pop diva has embarked on the new venture along with managing partner and talent manager Benoit Demouy. The new Los Angeles-based agency will focus on working with artists to help them book adverts, photoshoots and red carpet gigs.

The star, who is known for her high fashion style on the red carpet is expanding her empire. “Hair, make-up and styling play an important role in creativity. I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do,” said the singer who is popularly called RiRi.

She added that they were lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me. The “Diamonds” hit maker also told that she had a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary skills, according to The Hollywood Reporter. As part of the new venture the singer and her business partner have also launched a photo agency A Dog Ate My Homework.

RiRi has already signed up some big names in the beauty and fashion world including her own makeup artist Mylah Morales. Her other new talents include Taraji P. Henson’s wardrobe stylist Jason Bolden and hairstylist Patricia Morales, who styles Evan Rachel Wood and Fergie, and fellow hairstylist Marcia Hamilton who helps Jada Pinkett Smith keep her locks looking good.

The Barbados beauty’s partner Benoit said they hoped to have a new agency which matched the evolved nature of the industry. He added that their goal was to have the best reputation. He said that since the rates for artists have gone down considerably, their agency Fr8me would ensure that their talents get paid the big bucks.

Benoit added that they were concerned with social media and would prefer a make-up artist with 500,000 followers over someone else.

“The B**** Better Have My Money” singer has already made a mark in beauty with her fragrances. Her most recent scent RiRi by Rihanna was launched on Aug. 31. She also collaborated with Mac Cosmetics on a beauty range. Rihanna also caused a stir when she revealed she plans to launch her own beauty collection.
