Ryan Seacrest has yet another job to add to his resume. On Monday, it was announced that he will fill Michael Strahan’s spot as the permanent co-host on “Live with Kelly.” The job is sure to add more to his already impressive net worth.

“Ryan is a quintessential broadcaster and at the top of his game. I am thrilled to start my mornings with him every day, and we are so fortunate at Live to have him join the family,” Kelly Ripa said in a statement. “Ryan is a close friend, and his star shines as brightly off camera as it does on. His tremendous success is only matched by his impeccable reputation. Plainly said, everyone loves him, and so will our daily viewers.”

While his pay day for “Live” has yet to be revealed, Seacrest is already making plenty of money. As of July 2016, Forbes estimated him to have a net worth of $55 million. It seems he’ll maintain his many jobs, even as he relocates from Los Angeles to New York.

Seacrest will continue to oversee Ryan Seacrest Productions (which produces “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” “Rob & Chyna,” “Shades of Blue” and more) and Ryan Seacrest Enterprises, both of which are based in L.A. He’ll travel to the west coast to host events for “E! Live from the Red Carpet” during awards season. He’ll maintain his position hosting ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” at the end of the year as well. His clothing line, Ryan Seacrest Distinction, and endorsement deals with brands like Ford and Coca-Cola are also expected to be unaffected by his new gig.

His radio work, however, will move. A new iHeartRadio studio has been made for him in the same building that houses “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” In 2015, the former “American Idol” host inked a new deal with the radio company for three years that Billboard reported to be worth over $25 million.

Seacrest revealed to the New York Times that figuring out how to squeeze “Live With Kelly & Ryan” into his schedule was difficult. “The puzzle of it all is what took a long time to figure out,” he said. “I love to do a lot, but I am very conscious of making sure that no commitment is less favorite than another. They all deserve full focus, full attention, full energy.”

Ripa revealed to NYT that she knew she wanted Seacrest to stick around after he filled in as a guest host in November. A cooking segment with his mother won Ripa’s heart. “It’s like he didn’t even know what a kitchen is,” Ripa recalled. “And I thought: ‘Did we finally find a flaw in this person? Innnteresting.’”

Forbes reports that Ripa made $15 million prior to Strahan’s exit. That number likely increased after he left, and Seacrest signed on to have the same status Ripa has, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He’s an executive producer in addition to hosting. It would seem likely they’ll have comparable paychecks.
