Samsung is speculated to introduce a new version of TouchWiz UI on the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 smartphone. A new video has surfaced that shows off the new TouchWiz UI in action.

HDBlog.it, an Italian website, has released a video that showcases the new TouhWiz UI that will arrive on Note 7. Compared to predecessor version, the so-called Grace UX sports a cleaner appeal along with subdued colors.

The video that runs for 15 minutes is a tutorial that educates how to add widgets to the Homescreen, make a selection from a wide range of themes and how to choose a wallpaper. The APKs of the core apps that will arrive with Grace UX is has been made available by a beta tester of the new UI on XDA Developers.

The beta tester has revealed APKs of SMusic, SNote, Touchwiz UX beta v2, Video app and player, launchernd more. However, in order to use these apps, users will have require to have root access on their Android devices.

Samsung’s TouchWiz UI has been criticized over the years for using oversaturated colors, high memory usage and lags. The new UI appears have to resolve numerous issues. It will come preinstalled on Note 7 and it will be soon made available to the users of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is speculated to release in August. It is expected to be available in CPU variants of Snapdragon 821 and Exynos 8893. Both the chipset editions are expected to feature 6 GB of RAM.

It is rumored to house a 12-megpixel camera and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. Other specs include USB Type, iris scanner and a 4,000 mAh battery. Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 7 will be available in three colors like black, silver and blue.
