The wait for the Samsung Galaxy S6 is almost over. The 2015 flagship smartphone and its curved-display variant, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, will be available for preorder starting Friday, prior to their April 10 launch.

The Korean manufacturer announced Thursday that the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in Black Sapphire, White Pearl and Gold Platinum color options and 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options. Carriers including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless and retailers including Best Buy, Amazon.com, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target and Walmart will offer both devices, while Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless and MetroPCS will offer just the Galaxy S6. Carriers and retailers will announce their individual launch information, including exact specifications, colors, availability and pricing at a later date.

While Samsung has not detailed pricing for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, some carriers have. T-Mobile will sell the 32GB Galaxy S6 for $0 down and $28.33 per month for 24 months, or $679.92 full retail, while the 64GB model will sell for $99 down and 27.50 per month for 24 months, or $759.99 full retail and the 128GB model will sell for $199.99 down and $27.50 per month for 24 months, or $859.99 full retail.

The 32GB Galaxy S6 Edge will sell for $0 down and $32.49 per month for 24 months full retail, while the 64GB model will sell for $99.99 down and $31.66 per month for 24 months or $859.83 full retail, and the 128GB model will sell for $199.99 down and $31.66 per month for 24 months or $959.83 full retail.

T-Mobile is offering a free year of Netflix with the purchase of either handset.

AT&T has only revealed pricing for the devices under its AT&T Next payment plan, which is $22.84 per month for 30 months for the 32GB Galaxy S6 or $685.20 full retail and $27.17 per month for 30 months for the Galaxy S6 Edge or $815.10 full retail. AT&T is offering at $50 discount on a Samsung Gear Circle Bluetooth Stereo Headset with the purchase of either handset.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge feature a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED Display, with Gorilla Glass 4 (the Galaxy S6 Edge display is curved on both sides), a Samsung Exynos 7420 chip, 3GB of RAM memory, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB internal storage options a 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and 5-megapixel front camera as well as 2,550mAh and 2,600mAh batteries respectively. Samsung claims the devices provide up to 12 hours of Wi-Fi, 11 hours of LTE, 13 hours of video and 49 hours of music.

The smartphones include upgraded software like a new TouchWiz user interface that's cleaner, with less bloatware, and a new mobile payment system called Samsung Pay. They also include updated fingerprint sensors, which authenticate with one touch of a finger instead of a finger swipe like the sensors on older Galaxy models.
