“It’s A Wonderful Lifetime” continues with the premiere of the newest holiday film, “The Santa Squad,” starring Rebecca Dalton and Aaron Ashmore.

Both stars have been attached to Lifetime projects before, but this will mark the first time either has starred in one of the network’s holiday films. Dalton previously starred as Courtney Thorne-Smith in “The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story,” but fans may also recognize her from her role on Hallmark Channel’s “The Good Witch,” or roles in the films “Christmas in Paris,” “Christmas Wedding Planner” and “A Perfect Christmas.”

Ashmore, meanwhile previously had a role in Lifetime’s “Pretty Cheaters, Deadly Lies,” but is likely more recognizable from his role as Jimmy Olsen on “Smallville.” He also previously starred in “Wish Upon A Christmas.”

So what will happen when these two team up for their first holiday project together?

“Allie (Dalton), an out of work art teacher, has to accept a job with the Santa Squad to help wealthy widower Gordon (Ashmore) and his two previous daughters rediscover the magic of Christmas,” a synopsis teases.

However, as she works to bring the holiday spirit to the family, Allie winds up finding something more as she gets to know Gordon even more.

“As Allie is lifting the holiday spirits of the family with Christmas decorations, cookies and shopping, her kindness is rewarded with the most unexpected of gifts: love!” the synopsis continues.

“The Santa Squad” premieres Monday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
