Scott Disick, Sofia Richie Relationship: Couple On A Break After His Rehab Stay

Scott Disick and Sofia Richie’s relationship is taking a rest following the former’s rehab stay due to past traumas.

After reports came out that the model was behind her boyfriend on this journey, a source told Us Weekly that the break is on until the reality star “straightens himself out more.”

“Scott is in an OK place right now, and is trying to get better and focus on work, but he has to prove himself,” the insider further claimed.

Earlier this month, Disick entered a rehab treatment facility in Colorado but after photos of him leaked, he immediately checked out of the building. According to an E! News source, the man’s ex, Kourtney Kardashian, gave him guidance in this trying time.

Kardashian was also said to be the one who asked him to get help or else he wouldn’t be permitted to see his kids. Richie, meanwhile, was also reported to be extremely worried about Disick and his poor choices and was one of those who convinced him.

An insider told People that Richie was very supportive of Disick after the latter left rehab. The source then said that the man’s longtime girlfriend still lives with him and that he is happy that the 21-year-old is still by his side.

It was also earlier reported that Disick entered rehab because of substance abuse problems, which his attorney Marty Singer denied. The lawyer clarified that the step stemmed from the pain the star has been struggling with for the past many years.

"In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas,” Singer said.

Singer also said Disick was determined to file a case against those who spread the images of him at a rehab facility. It’s unclear, however, if Richie’s boyfriend will enter another facility soon, although reports claim he is seeking treatment now.
