"Oh my god," Gomez exclaimed. "I'm so excited. I didn't think I was gonna get -- actually, I know I wasn't gonna get nominated, or I thought. But I'm happy."

The other actresses nominated in the same category are Quinta Brunson ("Abbott Elementary"), Kaley Cuoco ("The Flight Attendant"), Jenna Ortega ("Wednesday") and Jean Smart ("Hacks") for the trophy, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Aside from her short interview with Nogueira about her 2023 Golden Globe nomination, Gomez also shared a throwback interview on TikTok, showing how she manifested the accolade years ago.

In the clip, the interviewer asked the "Kill Em With Kindness" singer for her review for the Grammys.

"Amazing, I thought it was so incredible," Gomez said. "I think Grammys are getting bigger every year, which is fun."

When the host asked if she was aspiring for one, Gomez said, "I think it would be an honor, of course, but I'm more of a Golden Globe or Oscar girl," and then she laughed.
