On Wednesday, Shake Shack surprised their Twitter followers by announcing the release of the Shack Camp Box. The new offering, which includes a variety of arts and crafts materials, will give fans of the burger chain new activities to do while socially distancing at home to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The new offering will give Shake Shack enthusiasts the chance to create their own summer camp in the safety of their own homes. Ordering the "curated box of supplies," will present the opportunity to have "the most fun, interactive camp experience of the summer—minus the mosquitoes," according to the brand. The box retails for $75 and is valued at $175 as it also includes $75 worth of exclusive offers.

Those who purchase the Shack Camp home kit will then be able to partake in a variety of activities, including creating lemonade stands, making summer sundaes, completing DIY arts and crafts projects, and more. Additionally, the curated box will also include everything needed to "throw the ultimate Field Day."

As for what's inside, campers will find a wide variety of items, such as costume jewelry, water balloons, spatterware cups, campaign buttons, drawstring bags and more. It will also include a Shake Shack apron, ice cream scoop, and other branded merchandise. A preview of the new product can be seen in the tweet below.

As for who the Shack Camp Box is geared towards, the official site states that the lessons are designed for children ages 4 and up. However, the assortment of items are made to be customized and can, therefore, be modified to fit any age group, including adults.

Ordering the Shack Camp Box will not only present the opportunity to create new memories at home amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but each product that is purchased will also help support The Fresh Air Fund, which provides "life-changing summer experiences for children from New York City’s underserved communities." Shake Shack, along with their partners such as Uber Eats, Goldbelly and OREO Cookies are collectively pleading $75,000 to support the charitable efforts of the initiative's 2020 programming.
