Denise Richards quit filming "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after being accused of having a secret lesbian affair.

The bombshell of a rumor was dropped on Denise when all of the "RHOBH" ladies, including Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards, Teddi Mellencamp, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, and newcomers Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke took a cast trip in late Nov. to Rome. The cast "confronted Denise about the alleged nasty things she'd been saying about them," an insider told The Daily Mail.

"Denise attempted to brush it off and act innocent, but then the women dropped a bombshell," the source continued. "They then confronted Denise about her affair with Brandi."

The source added, "Since the affair was exposed, Denise has basically walked away from the show. Everyone in Beverly Hills knows about it. It was the talk of Kathy Hilton's Christmas party."

Denise's rep, Jill Fritzo, told the British publication, "The story isn't true."

Despite denials, the rumor still boiled over to social media. Brandi Glanville, a former cast member of "RHOBH," and the woman who Denise is accused of having an affair with, seemed to address the matter in a series of tweets on Dec. 29.

"I just got 'Denised'", she wrote before adding, "Seriously [expletive]???? You wanna play. 1-blackmail is illegal, 2-I have no skeletons in my closet (they're all on the internet), 3-slut shaming is soooooo last year."

Brandi's lashing out seemingly at Denise poses and interesting turn of events as they previously appeared to be friends or at least on good terms enough to issue a heads-up.

"Brandi called Denise early in the season because Kyle had told Brandi that Denise was going to be the one person that the other ladies picked on this season in Lisa Vanderpump's absence," a production source revealed to Hollywood Life in Dec.

Hopefully, time will tell who's telling the truth, but in the meantime, viewers can watch it all go down when "RHOBH" Season 10 airs.
