Sony’s 2015 flagship Xperia Z5 and the mini sibling Xperia Z5 Compact can now be purchased in the U.S. via Amazon. However, it’s worth noting that, e-retailers were already selling these devices in the U.S. as international variants but with no warranty.

Even though, Sony just released the unlocked Xperia Z5 and Z5 Compact via Amazon with manufacturer warranty in tow, these devices come “without the fingerprint sensor” embedded on the home button, Phone Arena reported. These handsets are reportedly compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T.

Speaking of price, Amazon is now selling the Xperia Z5 for $599.99. The Xperia Z5 Compact, on the other hand, will set the buyers back by $499.99. Upon placing the order, Amazon’s free shipping service can be availed. At this point, only the Black variant of the devices are available.

As far as the specifications go, the Xperia Z5 features a 5.2-inch display, bundled with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, a Snapdragon 810 chipset powers the device along with an octa-core processor, clocked at 2.0 GHz.

This device is backed by 3 GB of RAM and it comes equipped with 32 GB of built-in storage space. The memory can be expanded with the help of a microSD card with capacity of up to 200 GB. Other key features include a killer 23-megapixel main camera, a 5.1-megapixel front-facing sensor, 2,900 mAh battery unit and IP68 certification.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, on the other hand, shares most of the features with the flagship Z5. However, it carries a pocket-friendly 4.6-inch display and 720 x 1,280 pixels resolution. Other differences include 2 GB of RAM and 2,700 mAh battery unit.

Both the handsets run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, however, they are upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
