Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas announced their engagement Sunday. The celebrity couple posted identical photos on Instagram to reveal their intention to get married.

The photo was simply of Jonas and Turner’s hands. The “Game of Thrones” actress was wearing a large diamond on her left hand that seems to be supported by two bands filled with smaller diamonds. “She said yes,” Jonas captioned his photo. Meanwhile, Turner’s caption read, “I said yes.”

The DNCE singer and the actress have been dating since last fall. The two haven’t spoken much about their relationship, but they haven’t been shy about being photographed together. They’ve been spotted laying on the PDA at restaurants, holding hands in various cities and even attending weddings together.

This summer, reports surfaced that the two were very committed. “Joe is taking this relationship very seriously. She’s different from other girls he has dated. She’s the female equivalent of him, and his family loves her too,” a source told People in June.

Joe’s brother Nick Jonas was quick to congratulate the happy couple. “Ahh! Congratulations to my brother... and sister in law to be on your engagement. I love you both so much,” he tweeted.

Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on “Game of Thrones,” previously said that it’s a bit easier to date someone else in the entertainment industry. “I found it easier to date someone who understands the industry or is in that world,” she told InStyle in May. “You realize that you’re not going to see each other all the time. And you don’t feel like a jerk when you’re like, ‘My publicist says I can’t do this … ’ ”

Turner isn’t the only cast member on HBO’s fantasy show to get engaged recently. Kit Harington, who plays her brother Jon Snow, recently popped the question to longtime girlfriend Rose Leslie (who played Ygritte on “GoT”). However, he proposed a bit earlier than he planned.

“I did have some plans to do it, I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff. But we were in the country, and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine, and I blew my load early,” Harington said on “The Jonathan Ross Show,” a British late night program. “Sorry, that’s a really bad expression... I meant to do it the day after with the lights. What I meant to say was, I popped my question a bit early. Not blew my load.”

It seems the “Game of Thones” cast will have several wedding gifts to buy soon. However, neither couple has revealed exactly when they plan to tie the knot.
