Stray Kids could become the next South Korean boyband to dominate the worldwide music scene after clinching the top spot in the iTunes Top Album charts in 40 regions including the United States.

Stray Kids’ recently released full-length comeback album “NOEASY” got placed at no. 1 in the iTunes Top Albums Charts Monday in Australia, Germany and Spain, Pop Vortex reported.

The album’s title track “Thunderous” also ranked No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in 44 regions including France, Argentina, Colombia and Sweden, as per Soompi.

Getting placed at No. 1 position both on the iTunes Top Album charts and the iTunes Top Songs chart is something new for the group that debuted in 2017 after winning a talent search show by JYP Entertainment.

The “NOEASY” album has 14 songs including “Silent Cry,” “The View,” “Star Lost” and “CHEESE.”

According to Soompi, “NOEASY” has already sold 355,946 units in South Korea after its release Monday.

This means they have smashed their previous record of selling 233,381 copies in one day with their repackaged album “IN Life” which was released in 2020 as per Pinkvilla.

“NOEASY” is also the most pre-ordered album in the history of JYP Entertainment groups and the first and only fourth-generation music group in South Korea to reach the Top 5 on the worldwide iTunes Song chart in 2021, as per the outlet.

Stray Kids previously said that “Thunderous” is a message to their detractors that they will continue to make music despite the odds. The song is laced with powerful rap verses that are complemented by traditional Korean instruments to create a distinct sound.

Early this month, Ryan Reynolds disclosed he is a fan of Stray Kids as he went on a live chat with group leader Bang Chan as part of the promotional activities for his movie “Free Guy” in South Korea.

"It is an honor and a privilege to talk to you and it's kind of crazy because I like…I think you guys are amazing. I think all the Stray Kids are amazing," Reynolds said.

"Oh my gosh! Thank you," an obviously thrilled Chan told Reynolds in response.

In the live chat, Reynolds said he watched the “NOEASY” trailer several times.
