Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Everton forward Richarlison in the underway summer window.

Spurs have now joined the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United in the race to land Richarlison, reported Goal.com. However, International Business Times could not verify it independently.

While Spurs have not made an offer yet to Everton, they have begun talks with the Brazilian forward's representatives. The report further claimed that the North London club has also approached Everton.

Richarlison wants to leave Everton in order to play in the Champions League. Spurs, which secured a spot in the top European competition for the upcoming season, are preparing to submit an opening bid for the 25-year-old forward, according to 90Min.

Richarlison is contracted with Everton until 2024. This gives the Merseyside club the leverage in any kind of negotiations in the summer window. Spurs will only make an offer for Richarlison if Everton quote the right price, The Athletic reported.

With Robert Lewandowski close to parting ways with Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga champions have also enquired about Richarlison, who is also a target of Ligue 1 winners Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Despite their attack boosted with the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, PSG are looking to further strengthen their dept ahead of the 2022-23 season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United, which failed to secure a Champions League spot for next season or win a single trophy last term, are aiming to bolster their squad under the new boss Erik ten Hag.

Considering Real Madrid have failed to sign Erling Haaland and Mbappe, the La Liga holders have turned their focus to Richarlison, who scored a total of 11 goals in all competitions for Everton in the 2021-22 campaign. Out of those 11 strikes, 10 came in the Premier League in 30 appearances. Richarlison has also made five assists for Everton.

In four seasons at Everton, Richarlison has netted 53 goals and 14 assists. He first came to Premier League in 2017 when Watford signed him on a five-year contract.
