St. Patrick's Day 2017: Best Irish Bars In Los Angeles

Bust out the green and "Kiss Me I'm Irish" tees because St. Patrick's Day is almost here.

This March 17, there are plenty of spots in Los Angeles to get your drink on. And with the holiday falling on a Friday this year, you may just want to call in sick to work.

Molly Malone's

Molly Malone's opens its doors bright and early at 6 a.m. for an authentic St. Paddy's Day party and 40th anniversary celebration. Munch on traditional corned beef and cabbage, and Irish stew and starting at 1 p.m. Enjoy live music, with performances from Ken O'Malley, Howl'n Wake, Jimmy Paxson, Talkback and more. Tickets start at $10 at the door.

Casey's Irish Pub

Arguably the site of Downtown's biggest St. Patrick's Day bash, Casey's Irish Pub will host a street festival featuring 400 kegs of beer, 1,200 bottles of Jameson, Irish fare, pizza from Pellicola Pizzeria plus a day of celebration, starting at 6 a.m. with music from DTLA's favorite DJs. Free admission before 3:30 p.m.

Timmy Nolan's

Timmy Nolan's St. Patrick's Day party is so big it's outgrown the bar! The Toluca Lake establishment will set be setting up its famous beer tent out back so be prepared for plenty of shenanigans and malarkey to go around. Be sure to grab some Irish grub such as Bangers & Mash and Irish Waffle Fries while you are there to soak up all the leprechaun-worthy libations.

Ireland's 32

Named for the 32 counties in Ireland, Ireland's 32 in Van Nuys, opening at 8 a.m., will celebrate all things Irish with Shepard's Pie, Corned Beef Sandwiches, live music and Guinness poured until close. There is a $10 cover starting after 9 a.m.

Rock & Reilly's

It doesn't get wilder than the Sunset Strip and Rock & Reilly's is West Hollywood's ultimate Irish bar. The prohibition-era style hotspot offers 45 exclusive, hand-crafted whiskeys, making it the largest stock of Irish whiskey in all of Los Angeles. There is also no shortage of draft beers and a massive food menu including their famous Irish Nachos featuring homemade kettle chips topped with peppered bacon, Irish cheddar, scallions and corn salsa.
