“Street Fighter 5,” aka either “Street Fighter V” or “SFV,” is getting closer to its anticipated 2016 release, with developer Capcom announcing the personal-computer specifications required to play the game Tuesday.

“Just so there’s no confusion, the minimum specs are what is required for ‘SFV’ to even run on your PC while the recommended specs (in bold) are necessary to achieve an optimal ‘SFV’ experience,” Capcom said in its statement.

The fifth installment in the “Street Fighter” series, “Street Fighter V” is a side-scrolling fighting game to be released on Microsoft Windows-run PCs and Sony PlayStation 4s in the first half of next year. While an official release date has not yet been announced, the game will be playable on the floor of TwitchCon in San Francisco this weekend.

Capcom has been announcing new playable characters over the past few months. The game will support Steamworks, and the second beta will be opening soon -- allowing for cross-play on the PC and PS4 platforms.
