Ronda Rousey made her official in-ring debut in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) at WrestleMania 34 when she competed in a mixed tag-team match alongside WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle and took on the authority Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion is currently spending time away from the ring but her close friend Natalya Neidhart has given an update that could excite the WWE universe.

The UFC Hall of Famer full-time entrance into WWE was massive and she instantly became one of the biggest stars in the locker room. At SummerSlam in 2018, she defeated Alexa Bliss to become the RAW women’s champion for the first time and she reigned at the top of the women’s division until she lost her title to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35 earlier this year.

Rousey’s popularity lifted the women’s division to such an extent that for the first time in the history of the promotion a women’s triple-threat match between the former UFC star, Lynch, who was equally if not more popular at the time and Charlotte Flair was set as the main event. The match did not live up to the hype but it was the recognition the women’s division deserved.

The former UFC and RAW women’s champion has been on hiatus since WrestleMania 35 after revealing that she is keen on starting her family with husband Travis Browne. There has been no news of an addition to their family, but Rousey has been hinting about a return and there were rumors about a potential return before the end of the year.

Natalya, a close friend of Rousey, admits that she is missing WWE a lot and confirmed that she will return to the promotion in the future. But any talk of an imminent return was quashed after Natalya suggested that she still remains focused on starting a family before making her in-ring return.

“Ronda I think misses it a lot,” Natalya told The Post. “I think that she misses it. I think that she definitely wants to come back, but I think that she’s so focused on having a family and that’s something. … When Ronda makes a promise to somebody, she stands by her word. And she really wants to have a family and she’s really focused on that with her husband Travis.”

“So I believe that that right now is her main focus, but I also think she still has a lot of unfinished business is WWE and so, for me, because she kind of fell in love with it more than she even realized she would, I think she’ll be back, but it’s all about timing and I just think her family is coming first right now and I think every woman can relate to that,” Natalya added.
