  • Antonio Brown questions Colin Kaepernick's true intention
  • Kaepernick wants to play again in the NFL
  • Like Kaepernick, Brown is also a free agent

Antonio Brown has fired a proverbial jab at former NFL player Colin Kaepernick, questioning the latter’s charity work and lambasting his past lawsuit with the league.

The 33-year-old wide receiver gave his opinion on Kaepernick when he appeared in a sit-down interview with Naji on “Cigar Talk.”

"All that is crap," Brown said. "We ain't respecting that, bro. You took the money, the commercials. We don't see you outside. We don't see him in the hood. He did nothing. Like, we cool. But, nah, we ain't even stand Kaepernick."

Furthermore, the seven-time Pro Bowler also questioned whether Kaepernick’s charity work has made a difference.

"He built a foundation," Brown stated. "What did it do, though? I'm being real. What superhero did he enforce? Who did he put on? Who did he help?"

Since becoming a free agent in 2016, Kaepernick has kept himself busy with charity work. That includes putting up the “Know Your Rights Camp” that was aimed to fight social justice.

Other than that, the 34-year-old also donated $1 million to organizations with similar calls and wrote a children’s book after partnering with a publishing company in 2021.

Beyond that, Kaepernick has been trying to find ways to get back into the league.

However, nothing has come close to that happening and such has not dampened the spirit of the two-time WAC Offensive Player of the Year.

As for Brown, his last NFL stint was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, his contract was terminated in January 2022 due to an internal issue concerning a controversial injury.

Brown remains a free agent with teams seemingly wary of taking him in.

Retired boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. tried to help the Super Bowl champion and was willing to give any team $20 million to have Brown on the roster.

"I think 'AB' is really misunderstood. He just wants to be treated fair. And this is for any team that's watching right now. We'll make them a deal: if they sign AB and AB go through the whole season, no problems at all, and then they gotta give us $20 million. But if he messes up, then we've gotta give them $20 million. So if any team wants to match that, you know, reach out to us," Mayweather said on “The Pivot” podcast in April.
