NBC is all sold-out of “Superstore” and won’t be replenishing stock for a few weeks. The 2018 Olympics have officially taken over the network, which means there won’t be a new episode of the NBC comedy tonight (Feb. 8) or for the rest of February.

The show will return on March 1, and while there’s no summary yet of what’s to come in the new episode, one could take a few educated guesses. “Superstore” tends to be extremely straightforward when it comes to its episode titles and how they reflect what their respective plots. The March 1 episode is called “Video Game Release,” which means it’ll likely be about just that.

It’s possible a new version of a popular video game will be coming out, and fans might be waiting outside overnight to make sure they’re able to snag a copy. This could lead to the employees having to deal with crazy and antsy customers outside in the cold because maybe they won’t be let inside if they are only there for the upcoming game.

On the other hand, perhaps the new game is already out and the Cloud 9 workers fall in love with it and become addicted. With all of the TV screens in the store, quite a few people could be playing at once and there could be a competition surrounding the game. The “Superstore” characters seem to love contests.

Thought it’s always fun to imagine what’s to come on a series, fans can rest easy knowing that they’ll only have to wait a few more weeks to see the new episode and find out the real plot-line of “Video Game Release.”

In the meantime, there’s plenty of Olympics action to keep viewers busy. In place of “Superstore” tonight, NBC will air the figure skating team event, both the men’s and pairs’ short program. The moguls freestyle skiing event will also be shown. Catch all the winter fun starting at 8 p.m. EST, with a half-hour program featuring Olympic interviews on right before it.
